Hi, I could use some help. Here's what I want to do: I'm renovating my bathroom and I want to have music in the shower as well as in the rest of the room. I plan to use two in-ceiling speakers for the main room and a two-channel in-ceiling speaker for the shower.
The speakers should be passive and are 8 ohm speakers. I want to mount my SB Touch in the wall, there's some in-wall space there and I plan to place an amp behind it. As much as I usually prefer active speakers these days, here I want to avoid power lines in my ceiling (the lighting is also low-voltage lighting there). I'm also kind of space restricted (actually REALLY space restricted) for the amp and my basic idea would be to use a four-channel in-car amp. Power is not an issue at all, it's a small room and the A2s I use in my current bath (ok, even smaller) are actually already too big. Now I have absolutely no idea about aftermarket in-car equipment, any suggestions?
