Bought a secondhand SB3 and had lots of intermittent problems with re-buffering, tried many fixes listed on here by all you helpful people! Nothing really worked though with router upstairs in attic and SB on ground floor.
Decided to take the plunge with homeplugs. Worried a bit because the attic is a new loft conversion, and the house had already had a partial re-wire some years ago. I bought a pair of Solwise 85Mb homeplugs for 37 pounds (ethernet cables included) hoping they would work. So easy to set-up - just plug them in. Wow! they work perfectly and at full speed - how I wish I had done this sooner!!
