I installed 7.5.1 on another machine tried to connect through that. Now I get slightly further. The update thermometer starts, gets maybe 1/5 of the way and then there is a message that flashes too fast to read except I think the first word is "Problem" and then it displays the message to press brightness to begin the update and it otherwise unresponsive.
