I'm using a TS-219P and I'm quite happy with its performance (although a TS239 might have been better), no problem serving music, navigation via Radio or Controller is snappy after a slight modification*, web access is a bit slow (but not annoyingly slow in my opinion), a full rescan takes 5-6 hours, a scan for new music 30-35 minutes.
Unless you need a 4 bay device I would suggest spending money on processing power (a TS-239 or even a TS-259) rather than drive space (TS-4xx). If you want to use MusicIP, you need a x39 or x59-device, it won't work on ARM-based devices such as my 219 or a 419. * http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=70371 -- yerma SC 7.5.1 on QNAP TS-219P, 35k mp3, Duet / Boom / Radio 'last.fm' (http://www.lastfm.de/user/yermar) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ yerma's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=31470 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=82005 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
