I'm aware of the limitation with respect to controlling the newer
devices. However, there are only two rooms which I need to do this for,
and in one of the rooms I have a Radio and a SB3 so I can control the
SB3 using JVC codes, the other room has a Boom and a SB3 so there I can
also control the SB3 with JVC codes. I have Harmony remotes for both
these rooms. I spend to many hours on this yesterday and have found a
good set of codes, but not all satisfied yet. I've used codes from
various JVC equipment and used two Harmony remotes to learn a common
set from other devices. I would wish there was an easier way, but I
seem to be getting closer to a workable solution.

As for the .ir files, I'm aware of those, but I have no idea how I
could use them, given that I'm also trying to do this with Harmony
remotes for which I cannot manually enter codes.
