I use a Touch with a bridge cable to a laptop running XP. Laptop connects to local wifi and I can play music without any issues.
When using wifi connections all around, I can use iPeng and browse my albums using Safari. Everything works fine :) I prefer to use a bridge cable to hook to the Touch directly to laptop for a wired connection to prevent dropouts etc... When I hook up using the cable I can connect the touch to the laptop and play music. But I can't use iPeng or Safari to browse tunes. Something happens when I plug the bridge cable in. I can still browse internet on laptop running server, but can't use iPeng.
