A 45% WiFi signal could be a factor. Full computers like your laptop can handle poor WiFi signals much better than a simple network music device.
Can you temporarily move the SB3 much closer to the router to see if that corrects the issue? This will help determine if WiFi is the problem. You may be able to boost the routers WiFi signal strength through a few basic WiFi settings and tweaks in your routers Admin functions. - set router to only use G mode (I'm assuming you do not have an N router) - see what ch's (1 thru 11) are in use around you, choose ch 1 or 6 or 11 that is NOT in use - reorient router and/or it's antennas for better coverage to the problem area - move router closer to problem area Just throwing out some basics to get started. :) -- toby10 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ toby10's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=12553 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=82292 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
