Yes I am still interested in this. SlimControl seems to work correctly with Triode's Spotify plug-in, everything just works except that the cover art for the track playing doesn't show up (actually I see a distorted SlimControl logo where the cover art should be). I don't know if this is an issue with SlimControl or with the Spotify plug-in. It's not a major issue for me but just thought I'd mention it. I've tried the suggestions made buy others in this thread but nothing helped. If you want to look into it I'd be happy to help in any way that I can.
