Then I don't believe it's memory. The memory issue would only show up after a while of use and I also fixed that one. Will eventually have to try 4.2 on a device myself. The number of albums is not that important here, IF there are memory issues they are related to the memory use for artwork and iPeng can't hold more than 450 of these in memory anyway.
