Hi Guys, I got my first Squeezebox device this week, a Squeezebox Boom. I set it up and it's working great.
I previously installed the Squeezebox Server on my PC and created an account on mysqueezbox.com to play around with the software before I got the player. My time-zone on mysqueezebox.com is set to "Caracas, La Paz" which was actually UTC-4 without any daylight savings time. However, some years ago Venezuela (Caracas) changed their time-zone to UTC-4:30. After that the "Caracas, La Paz" time-zone had to split into one time-zone for Caracas at UTC-4:30 and another time-zone for La Paz at UTC-4; Microsoft actually calls this time-zone "Georgetown, La Paz, Manaus, San Juan". For Squeezebox it seems that the time-zone was not split, but the whole "Caracas, La Paz" time-zone was shifted to UTC-4:30 which leads to the time on my Squeezebox Boom being off by 30 minutes. I guess I'm the first one in this timezone to buy a Squeezebox?? What steps do I have to follow to get this fixed?
