Instead of simply disabling Play, the Party MOde behavior should be changed to ADD. A more complete Party Mode solution _should_ disable Random Mix. Disable Favorites. Disable all services (apps). A Party Mode should only play from the local library. And it should only permit adding individual tracks, not full albums, artists, etc. Another nice feature would be to time-limit the number of songs that could be added to the playlist. Ideally configurable, to N every M seconds. Maybe you'd set it to 1 per minute so that it's more difficult for any one person to queue up a lot of songs all at once. Or 3 per 2 minutes. This is one nice thing about a pay jukebox - most people don't want to spend a lot of money to dominate the music played for a long period. That's harder to control when they're not paying. -- JJZolx ------------------------------------------------------------------------ JJZolx's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=82990 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
