Hi, Not sure if you're still following this thread, but I got round to trying to sort my problem following your replies. As you mentioned, it involved restarting the PC - bad idea for antique Dell! My PC went to a blue screen, wouldn't boot and after a trip to the PC hospital was told the hard drive had died (it was ages old and only a matter of time).
Thank god my music and photos are on an external hard drive! Anyway, a new internal hard drive later and a complete reinstall of SB server etc - and the system's up and running again. So, just to say thanks anyway for getting back with the advice - so far so good and it's pretty stable.
