You're possibly correct, I've not tried installing bliss on a Sheevaplug but it sounds like a fun use of my time :D
bliss just needs to be able to see the files via a file system, so it can be local or network mounted. You can install it anywhere. You then access it via http://[bliss ip]:3220/. Note: you manually rescan Squeezebox Server after bliss has done its work.
