Things are much improved today. The system worked fine yesterday when connected via ethernet; when I went back to wireless, I didn't seem to have a problem. Over three enjoyable hours this morning without dropouts either.
The problem seems to be when I select favorite radio stations via mysqueezebox--I had the restarting problem again this morning, but when I switched back to the web access and accessed radio stations through the SBS, I had no problems (knock wood).
