Actually, musixmatch.com, which is one of the sources I'm using for the
lyrics provides timestamps. Their lyrics are also legal to use, thanks
to agreements with music industry, in comparison to some of the other
sources which have lyrics that that hasn't been officially approved by
the music industry.
I haven't verified how many songs musixmatch.com have lyrics for yet
though, so it might be too limited to be useful.

There is a "lyrics" column in the tracks table, doesn't the standard
scanner fill that ?
If it does, isn't there a JSON command to retrieve it ?
