I have the very excellent Squeezebox classic 3 and with this can play all my shared audio files from my desktop PC running windows XP.
I also have an internet radio which can also play audio files from my PC, but when I search for them on the unit cannot find any. On referring to the radios operators manual I see they recommend using Windows media player 11 or above as a bridge or UPnP to facilitate things. When I attempt to download media player it can't validate my windows. Is there any other way I can get around this problem and get my mp3's playing on the wifi internet player? I do have the free versions of VLC player, Real Player and Winamp already installed on the desktop.
