A familiar tale it seems, from searching the forums: My SqueezeBox remote dropped to the floor today, and though suffering no visible external damage, it no longer works. I've read a few posts about breakage of the IR LED leads, which should be easy enough for me to fix, but I can't figure out how to get to the circuit board.
This is a black candybar-style (non-backlit) remote, from a black SB3. It looks like the top panel pops off, perhaps, but I can't get anything in there to get it started. I'm hoping there's some trick that will help and avoid breaking the plastic.
