iPad playback -- a brilliant new feature! I've tested it on my local music library (.flac, .mp3, .m4a,.wma), Internet radio, Sirius Radio, last.fm, and Slacker; all are good.
Unfortunately, Pandora requires a subscription to play to the iPad, and Rhapsody doesn't allow playback at all: "This player does not support Rhapsody. A Squeezebox2 or higher is required." I realize that this is a Rhapsody limitation, and nothing can be done to change it. Still, well worth the upgrade price.
