If you wish to have music playback on the iPad you can only choose between Squeezepad and Squeezecast. Since Squeezepad has music plaback integrated, Squeezecast is no more an alternative, because Squeezepad can do everything that Squeezecast can do ... and much more!
If you don't need music playback on the iPad you can choose between iPenq and Squeezepad. In my eyes the decision between those two apps depends more on personal taste than on functionality.
