Indeed I am a Mac user... I have tried the quick user switch option and you are right Slimserver keeps running, because I am the default first user when the computer starts up. Thank you very much. I wasn't aware that slimserver also worked on Gates machines.. otherwise I would have stated my platform more clearly. Any how thanks for your answer too.
