Of course that would be the best answer (lock or not), but as this is not something likely to rise to the top of the developer's work list, I'm still thinking something like the kidsplay plug in would work nicely to reduce the options on the player. But having to run SbS on your own server adds to what you need to do. You could play with it with a version of SbS running on your own machine just to see if that does what you need. If so, you could use some low power always on server (squeezeplug, old computer running vortexbox stuck in the basement, etc.). Then you'd have the control you want and could also have your own music as favorites he could choose as well. Haven't used kidsplay so just guessing here, but there are threads on this, just search the forum. -- garym ------------------------------------------------------------------------ garym's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=17325 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=84843 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
