It really does work nicely. I manage these station favorites on SBS then do the OPML upload to my online file share service. But an FYI to others using this concept, there are some catches.
Issues using SBS to manage these: 1. SBS should have a separate MySB (or internet radio) OPML folder so it does not mix in music files with internet streams 2. SBS displays AAC streams which I cannot use on MySB with my older players, would be nice to filter out AAC streams on SBS as an option 3. SBS (or RadioTime via SBS) will sometimes not give accurate file type info, where it says the stream is MP3 (or no designation at all) when in fact it is an AAC stream Issues uploading the OPML (not really the fault of MySB): 4. Every time I "update" my OPML file to my online file share I get a different URL to use 5. Now I must update MySB > Favorites with the new URL #1 is why I'd love for SBS and MySB to "Sync" this shared and individual OPML file. #4 & #5 are why I'd love for MySB to handle this (no URL changes) -- toby10 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ toby10's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=12553 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=84798 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
