The latter is a SlimProto thing, your SB won't work otherwise, too. It could be avoided but then you have to make it just too dependent on the UI control communication. If you want to configure a server with a different port than 9000 you do it as: http://youraddress.com:xxxx And yes, THAT IS written in the documentation.
