I just had an similar incident. At the time I was running 7.6.0 31902 (last saturday). In the morning I went through a couple of radio stations. Using the web interface. Found a station and wanted to adjust the volume but the gui responded but the volume remained the same... I logged onto my music server and the SBS process was chewing on a core. I restarted and checked the logfiles.. nothing.
