To move your library in iTunes, you should never just copy the library as that will never work. I have my laptops iTunes, and Squeezebox talking to my Nas for their music.
To move it, map your NAS as a network drive, so that on your computer your Nas has a drive letter. e.g My Computer -> Map Network Drive. then follow the steps in the following link to move your library. It can take a while.
