Well, it's my sister's remote that's on the blink. As she lives in another time-zone and isn't the sort to pry apart things and poke around...I figure that buying a new one is best.
I just pulled apart a old SB1 era remote that had failed. The IR bulb's solder connections are intact. What's clearly broken, though, is one of the leads on the rectangular pumpkin-colored component at the very tail-end of the PCB. It has "CQ445G" printed on it and the printed square on the PCB where the part goes is labeled "455KHz". Any idea what that component is and where a replacement could be found? -- gharris999 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ gharris999's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=115 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=86092 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
