On the other hand you could play the same stream in those additional zones with just the SB3. The only catch is that often AVR/amps limit zone playback to only analog inputs, so using the SB3 you would have your main listening area via digital out and zone 1 via analog out. If your AVR/amp allows digital input for zone playback you would then have three listening areas (main + zone 1 + zone 2) using the SB3's three outputs (two digital, one analog).
