depending on where, and what type of system, don't discount something like attaching powered speakers to a touch or sb3/duet, etc. I use Audioengine A5's at the weekend place connected to a touch, and for the price and simplicity the sound is very good. I use audioengine A2s at work on my computer, and I think these could easily fill a small room with good sound.
