About a month ago I ordered a bit of electronic kit from an Amazon Marketplace seller - got a shipped notice a day or two after order.
On the last day of the delivery estimate I got an e-mail saying they couldn't source the item I wanted and money would be refunded. The money was refunded about a week later. I think it was a little dubious that they sent a "shipped" notice and so debited the credit card when clearly they hadn't the goods in stock.
