I've used iPeng on my iPhone for a long time and was generally pretty happy with it. My biggest issue is that I find the interface for adding songs to a playlist a bit confusing (single song vs. whole album, replace playlist vs. insert next vs. add to end), but I think that's largely my problem, and would probably go away if I paid more attention.
I've been using the iPhone version on the iPad recently as well and it works fine, but I thought I might get a better experience with something designed specifically for the iPad. After reading here and in other places on the web I decided to go for the SqueezePad. It seems to work fine, but I find the interface a bit frustrating for two reasons. First, the sliding transitions feel slow; I prefer the quick response of iPeng. Second, I use "search" a lot, and I like the way iPeng gives the results for artists, albums, and songs immediately, vs. SqueezePad which makes you choose which category you want to search. Not showstoppers, I might find I prefer other aspects of SqueezePad, and it's only $10, but I figured I'd pass along these points in case they're important to other shoppers or the developer. -- sferrari63 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ sferrari63's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=45858 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=83112 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
