I repeat: what about setting up a "1/3 party storefront plugin", a simple page with pics, short descriptions, maybe demography statistics, and link to the place where to buy the ware and another link to support. I think this has to be a join effort: one single place to choose from with the free (softsqueeze, etc.) and for-pay software for all platforms. Maybe this looks redundant with Extension Dowloader.
