Since it's an old SB3, you could try using Felix Mueller's
PowerSwitchII plugin, which emits a 3.3V DC signal on the headphone
output while the SB3 is switched on. You can use it to trigger a relay
that will switch the amp on/off along with the SB3.

Felix himself suggests controlling the relay with a transistor, but
that requires a power supply. There's another strategy that uses a
relay with AC coil and an opto-isolated triac that doesn't need a power
