Just buy a cheap laptop, with a harddrive big enough for your music and make sure it supports Wak-on-Lan. They are low power and have sufficient power for SBserver and other stuff at the same time. Windows 7 has much improved suspend function so it wakes very fast. On my HP laptop, Windows 7 Home Premium, it was very simple to enable WOL. I didn't even have to go in to BIOS, it was enabled by default in the hardware and I just had to enable it in Windows powermanagement. When suspended our laptop uses 1.7watt -- Letten Sboxes: Duet, Classic, Radio, 2 Boom's Server: HP Laptop, Core i5-540M, 4Gb DDR3, WOL (Wake-on-lan), 1.7watt suspended, Windows 7, SBS 7.5.3 Router: Linksys WRT54G wireless ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Letten's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=16718 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=87453
