Ok, let's try a different approach. :) You can get Rhapsody, Napster, Pandora, etc... on numerous different devices and platforms from numerous different manufacturers. To name just a few off of the top of my head...
SqueezeBox, Sonos, Yamaha, Sony, Pioneer, Denon, Apple, Roku, PopcornHour, Western Digital, Onkyo, Android, JVC, Toshiba, Samsung, LG, Panasonic, Livio, Acoustic Reasearch, HP, Sangean, Rotel, Chumby, Grace, Boxee, Tivo, Vudu, D-Link, NetGear, and MANY others... As stated before, I find it very peculiar that out of all these many manufacturers that are obviously very open to music services yet not one offers Zune Pass. I can only guess Microsoft is either difficult to deal with or is asking too much $$$ or simply won't license to anyone (which is my bet). AFAIK, Zune Pass is solely available on your PC or Windows Phone or Xbox, that's it. So my bet is that Microsoft simply has no interest in licensing to other products. I'd be asking Zune why your Zune subscription is so limited to very few options in the market. It is this extreme limitation why many in here give Zune such poor marks (hence poor comments) and why many do not subscribe to Zune, it is simply far too limiting a service offered to only a very small number of Windows only devices. :) -- toby10 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ toby10's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=12553 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=69351 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
