In general, Logitech doesn't comment on yet-to-be released products. Like toby says, anyone who claims to know about new hardware products is probably faking it. And anyone who really knows isn't allowed to say.
The Touch has been out a little over a year. Have you considered that (a) new products often kill off old products, and (b) you need to recoup the investment in the old products? As for the pace of the product releases, take a look at the release dates on the hardware comparison page on the wiki (http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.php/Hardware_comparison). Sometimes less than a year, sometimes more. SB development has hardly turned to an end.
