Hi folks,
I picked up a vinyl album last weekend - Paul Simon's self titled album -
and discovered that it is Quadrophonic (!!!)

Now, it sounds ok on my record player (yes, I have a record player; love
collecting old records from markets and garage sales!), but I'm wondering:
- How would you rip this as 4 (or 5:1 I guess) channels? Are there places
out there that would do it for you, or is there even such a thing as a
quadrophonic record player still available at a sane pric?
- How would you play it? I have stereo cables connecting my Squeezebox to
my old stereo, but I also have a surround system and could hook up an
optical connection - can the Squeezebox play surround-sound audio formats?
(I have a squeezebox 3 - as well as an old slimp3 in a box somewhere)

This is mostly just for academic amusement - I'm not really desperate to
hear the glory of Paul Simon in full surround; but I'm interested if it's
possible, or if quadrophonic is a complete dinosaur technology.
