Sorry, but it won't work on an SB1 (or a SliMP3). The official Logitech plugin only works with the Touch and the Radio, and as you noted, Triode's only works with SB2 and later. It comes back to (a) Spotify using a special Ogg Vorbis stream, and (b) the limited hardware of the SB1.
