Been playing spotify. Yes you can tell the the difference between encodings on songs. Some sound very clean while others can be a little muddled. It seems like it skips a song with the "not available in your region". But if there are a few in a row it stops. That needs to be improved. You should not have to go to the remote to push a button to get it going again, very frustrating. Maybe I havent figured this out yet but Is there a radio function for genres or artist, Imported some playlists but a radio, would be very nice
