Well, good luck with that. I've already spent enough hours on this trying the various fixes posted by everyone including Erland. Nothing seemed to work and precaching artwork continued to hang. I went back to 7.5. Hopefully with my post of the scanner log and yours also, someone can chime in with a fix. Otherwise I will just wait for the next update.
