The only problem is I have loads of remixes of tracks etc that means the Browse
by Artists list has many single-track entries.
I think for now I'll split into multiple ARTIST tags (using the multi-tag
delimiter). At least that way artists are grouped together, although the
artist name when a track is playing or submitted to AudioScrobbler isn't
correct.
Eg. I have the following:
Move On Through by Rhythm Method feat. Denise Gordon
Falling For You by Contract Chillers feat. Denise Gordon
Body Rock by Marcelus Johnson feat. Denise Gordon
If I split these into multiple artists, at least I could easily locate any
music that Denise Gordon has been an artist on. I also have a song by Rhythm
Method, so that is appearing as a separate artist. I can't currently browse
all songs by Rhythm Method; I have to perform a search instead, and then the
results aren't sorted.
That was a small example - it becomes more necessary to get the tags right when
I start thinking about my Fripp and Eno collaborators!
