It would be neat if Logitech would licence SlimProto to other hardware vendors... or even better, if someone were to write an "adapter" (and I use that term very loosely) that would allow other hardware to "emulate" a SlimProto-device.
Just a pipedream. It's just that I don't see any post-Touch hardware arriving any time soon and I NEED all of the SBS "bells & whistles".
