And since SBS relies on MSB to provide access to some of the online music services you may still experience outages if MSB goes down, although it does seem to be less frequent. The long and short of it is, unless you're only listening to your own library you pretty much have to depend on MSB being available, if it's flaky then all bets are off regardless of what equipment you're able to set up yourself.
