+10 Since most things have lights <or LED's> the original first question "Is it plugged-in has gone out-of-fashion." This is not to say the wall-wart failure is not an issue. My routers/switches quite often have a brain-fart.. When I was working elsewhere, I had <have> a timer hooked to the modem/switches/routers that shut off/on each early morning.
