rewind doesn't work with transcoded formats. they have to be native.
If you mean rewind, as in skip back to the start of track, that should
work. Please try the latest beta (6.2b1) and see if that helps. If
not, please let us know what message is related to the crash. you
would find this is the Windows event viewer (control panel ->
administration tools)
