No, it would not do away with the comic-sans-style note symbol that doesn't fit together at all with the clear-cut shaded wavefront. And the there is a shaded background AND gloss which IMHO is just an implementation error. This thing looks like it got cobbled together in 5 minutes by a non-designer. Almost like _I_ did it...
