I am running this SqueezeBox Server:
Code:
--------------------
Version: 7.5.3 - r31792 @ Mon Jan 24 08:21:38 MST 2011
Operating system: Synology DiskStation (DSM Package Management) - EN - utf8
Platform Architecture: PPC_853X
Perl Version: 5.8.6 - PPC_853X
MySQL Version: 5.1.49
--------------------
and I am trying to get Spotify to stream to my Asus Eee Pad Transformer
TF101 (running Android 3.2.1) using SqueezeCommander and SqueezeCenter.
I can easily use SqueezeCommander (via the official Spotify Plugin) to
play back Spotify tracks on my Radio, but when I try to do the same
with SqueezePlayer, I don't get any sound.
I believe it is because the audio is encoded in Ogg format, so I'll
need to transcode this to .MP3 to be able to play it on SqueezePlayer,
or SqueezePlayer needs to support Ogg format.
Can you help with either one of these options? I have been unable to
figure out how to install Lame on my DS410, so if you know of a
step-by-step guide for installing this on my NAS so that SquuezeBox
Server can use it, that may work as well (if the Ogg file takes a
round-trip across the server before getting sent to the Pad).
Please help... :-)
