The Duet is discontinued, and so is the Transporter. So retailers are selling whatever stock is left. The Transporter got a brief reprieve when they decided they could sell a "Transporter SE" model, which is the same as the original TP, but without the TransNav knob on the front. Apparently they were short of TransNav knobs, but that's only the first of the components to disappear. For example, the VFD screens are no longer being made by the manufacturer.
