I think it's great news, it removes most of the open source arguments at a stroke. I can't see Apple going back on this, what would be the reason? Anyway I'll be moving to an Apple tv come Christmas if Santa is good to me. Far too much trouble running my old squeezebox 2 these days. The last update was the last straw I'm afraid.
