Is there any place where you may also wish to have sound, such as
bedroom? If so, consider getting the Touch for your main system. Then
connect the SB3 to a pair of self-powered speakers (such as Audioengine
A2, or whatever your budget permits) in another room. Or if you have old
amp and speakers lying around use that instead. SBs really do prefer to
live in packs.

To my ears on my mid-fi system, the analog outs of the Touch are
noticeably superior to the SB3's. Not "night vs day", but noticeable.
It's hard for me to say if it would be "significant" on your system /
room / ears.
