Is there any place where you may also wish to have sound, such as bedroom? If so, consider getting the Touch for your main system. Then connect the SB3 to a pair of self-powered speakers (such as Audioengine A2, or whatever your budget permits) in another room. Or if you have old amp and speakers lying around use that instead. SBs really do prefer to live in packs.
To my ears on my mid-fi system, the analog outs of the Touch are noticeably superior to the SB3's. Not "night vs day", but noticeable. It's hard for me to say if it would be "significant" on your system / room / ears. -- aubuti ------------------------------------------------------------------------ aubuti's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2074 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=91719 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
