If you installed LMS on a Windows PC it will have created a "Control Panel" icon on your desktop. (Probably the same for Mac OS or linux but I don't have experience with those.) Open that application and go to the "Advanced" tab. Toward the bottom of the tab there is a section called "Cleanup". Check the box next to "Clean cache folder, including..." and push the "Run Cleanup" button. If you get a message about LMS needing to be stopped, go to the first tab and click the "Stop Logitech Media Server" button. Return to the Advanced tab and push Run Cleanup again. It takes a few minutes to complete the deletion. When you restart LMS -- or reboot your server -- it will rescan your library.
Even easier: on the first tab of the Control Panel application is a section called "Media Scan Details". Change the drop-down to "Clear library and rescan everything" and hit the "Rescan" button. Please post back with results. -- Apesbrain ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Apesbrain's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=738 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=92312 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
